An international remote operator for U.S., U.K., and UAE teams
I'm Nida Urooj. For the last three years I've worked directly with founders and lean teams across the United States, United Kingdom, UAE, Canada, Australia, and parts of Europe - running the sales, HR, payroll, VA, and content workstreams that keep a growing business honest. One accountable point of contact, agreed live-coverage hours, weekly written reporting.
My clients aren't hiring a virtual assistant. They're hiring an operator who takes ownership of a workstream - a broken sales pipeline, a messy HR file, a payroll cycle no one is watching - closes the loop, and reports back like a colleague.
Teams I run operations for every week
These are the markets where I run the most volume. Every engagement is fully remote, on your business hours, with a written coverage window agreed before we start.
Four things every engagement gets
One accountable operator, not a rotating team
You get me - the person building the CRM view, sending the follow-up, running the payroll cycle, cleaning the onboarding file. No hand-offs to a junior you never speak to.
Coverage windows agreed up-front
Every engagement starts with a written coverage window aligned to your business hours - U.S. Eastern to Pacific, U.K. GMT/BST, or GCC Sunday-to-Thursday - and I hold it.
Written weekly reporting
Async gaps get bridged by real reports founders can actually use, not chat threads. What ran, what stalled, what needs your call.
Documented, not tribal
SOPs, checklists, and CRM/HR hygiene get written down so the workflow survives me. If we ever wind down, you keep the system.
How I got here
I started in outbound sales - cold calls, follow-ups, CRM discipline - for international clients whose buyers spoke a different language, worked a different timezone, and expected a different tone. That's where I learned that consistent, well-documented work travels across borders far better than clever tactics.
From there the scope widened. HR and talent for a U.K. agency. Payroll and operations coordination for a 125-person remote team spanning multiple countries. Content, comms, and executive support for founders who needed one operator to hold the whole picture together. Twenty-plus U.S. brand partnerships shipped along the way.
Today I split my weeks across a handful of long-standing clients - the kind of relationships where the founder knows exactly who's watching the pipeline, the onboarding checklist, or the payroll cycle. If that's the shape of support you're looking for, we'll probably work well together.
