BEFORE YOU BEGIN For template pages, print at Actual Size / 100%. Do not use Fit to Page or Scale to Fit. Measure the included 1-inch calibration square before cutting fabric. Printer scaling can change template dimensions and affect the finished project.

If substituting fabric, preserve contrast between the cream background, red accents, evergreen accents, and applique motifs so the sampler remains easy to read.

SKILL LEVEL This pattern is designed for a confident beginner. Basic familiarity with rotary cutting, sewing an accurate 1/4-inch seam, pressing, assembling quilt blocks, and using a sewing machine is recommended. Raw-edge fusible applique is used for the decorative motifs.
